Contribution to Education and Sports

At Shri Kshetra Theur, consistent efforts have been made to improve educational infrastructure and support students across various schools. Four institutions—Tarmala School, Theur Zilla Parishad School, YCM English Medium School, and Chintamani Vidyamandir—were equipped with high-capacity (1,000-liter) water filtration systems through the support of Yuvraj Nana Kakade, ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water for students.

In addition, sanitation facilities and essential water storage tanks have been provided to Zilla Parishad schools in the Theur region, contributing to a healthier and more hygienic learning environment.

To promote education, thousands of free notebooks have been distributed among students, including 4,000 notebooks in one phase and an additional 2,000–3,000 notebooks in subsequent initiatives. Blood group testing camps for students have also been conducted at personal expense, emphasizing student health and safety.

Further strengthening educational resources, computers and learning materials have been provided to Chintamani Vidyamandir, helping enhance digital learning opportunities for students.

Extending support beyond the local region, assistance was provided to Pratik Nitin Karnik in securing a ₹90 lakh scholarship under the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Overseas Scholarship Scheme (2025–2026) for higher education in Australia, enabling access to global academic opportunities.

Contribution to Sports, Heritage, and Cultural Activities

Dedicated efforts have been undertaken to honor the legacy of Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav, India’s first individual Olympic medalist. Work has focused on bringing recognition to his struggle-filled life and achievements, along with sustained efforts over the past five years to secure a prestigious national honor such as the Padma Bhushan or Padma Shri for him.

In addition, initiatives have been pursued through the Government of Maharashtra to obtain administrative approval for a ₹25 crore fund aimed at developing an international-standard wrestling complex, which would serve as a major boost to aspiring athletes and the sport of wrestling.

To encourage grassroots sports and nurture young talent, various sports competitions are organized annually across multiple disciplines, including cricket, kabaddi, and traditional wrestling arenas, among other games.

Furthermore, every year, thousands of devotees of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj participate in a 60-kilometer foot march from Panhala Fort to Pavan Khind, retracing the sacred path associated with his legacy. Continuous efforts have been made through the state government to support and facilitate this historic march, ensuring proper arrangements and encouragement for participants.
