As part of ongoing community engagement, an annual “Home Minister” program is organized exclusively for women, providing them with a platform to celebrate, exchange ideas, and enjoy moments of relaxation and entertainment away from their daily responsibilities.

For the past 15 years, during the sacred Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Procession, free health check-ups, medical treatment, and distribution of snacks have been consistently arranged for thousands of devotees, ensuring their well-being throughout the journey.

Various initiatives are undertaken to promote the empowerment of women. These include schemes focused on women’s education, safety, protection, and overall socio-economic development.

The Directorate of Women and Child Development in Pune, Maharashtra, plays a crucial role in advancing the social and economic empowerment of women and children through well-structured policies and programs.
